Borusiade announces debut album!

'A Body' will be out March 9th through Cómeme.

The Bucharest-born artist, real name Miruna Boruzescu, has close ties to Matias Aguayo's Cómeme label - she released her first-ever record, 2016's 'Jeopardy' EP, via the outlet, followed by a second EP, 'Silent', last year. The new record, which spans seven tracks, covers similar ground, with nods to synth pop, techno, EBM and new wave.

Steve Bug & Langenberg Team up for album 'Paradise Sold'

First single 'NGC 6240' will be out February 23rd!

Following on from the well received 'Chord Cluster' EP from late 2017, the irresistible pairing of Steve Bug and Langenberg return with 'Paradise Sold' - a full ten track album of exquisitely crafted house music on Bug’s own Poker Flat Recordings (out: 6th of April 2018).

Neither Steve Bug nor Langenberg needs much introduction due to the sizeable contributions both have made in building the European house and techno scene as we know it. Bug’s relentless commitment to quality - both in his own work and in the many producers he has championed - has made him one of electronic music's most revered artists and curators.

The first single called 'NGC 6240' will be released with two remixes from Tim Engelhardt and Vince Watson on February 23rd.

new release by Omsk Information and Dr. Walker

'Café Keese' is out since February 12th on Lucidflow!

Credentials don’t come more comprehensive than the pairing of Omsk Information and Dr. Walker, the pair behind release #149 for Lucidflow. The former has been a product developer for M-Audio and Native Instruments, contributing to the glittering constellation of products such as Traktor and Maschine. The latter is Ingmar Koch, co-founder of Kompakt records, who boasts a history sharing the Harvest Records label with Pink Floyd, Deep Purple and Can, amassing an astonishing 800 strong catalogue of vinyl, CD and remix releases.

Unsurprisingly the 'Café Keese' release - named after a café in Berlin - is fully flavoured, laden with the experience on show. It leads the way with the Ball Paradox version of the title track, stepping out on finest form. It is swinging, melodic and intoxicating in the manner with which it swirls around your head. It’s the Lucidflow manifesto given a wry spin, with dub stabs coming from pizzicato strings and a twinkle in the eye of the melodies on show.

It's coming: Pari San release first single of their debut album 'R.I.P Identification'

'Ego' will be released February 2nd!

On their much-acclaimed 2016 Frozen Time EP (including collaborations with Markus Ganter and Robot Koch as well as a feverish, fascinating music video of Rammstein director Zoran Bihać), Pari San already set a massive exclamation point with tons of style and elegant, modern Pop-Electronica. But their long-awaited debut album R.I.P. Identification will have a much bigger surprise in store.

The painstaking, passionate collaboration with electronic music innovator Markus Popp aka Oval, who has co-produced R.I.P. Identification, has resulted in radically innovative, yet masterfully crafted songs.

Pari San are Iran-born musician Parisa Eskandari and the Berlin-based producer Paul Brenning - together they conjure sensual, urban songscapes between pop and avant-garde.

The special chemistry between Pari and Paul creates sheer, electrifying tension: Iranian flair meets Berlin, oriental mysticism meets western rationality, impulsiveness collides with technical precision. Eskandari's unmistakable vocal style effortlessly dissolves the boundaries between day and dream.

On their tour you will see the premiere of never-before-performed R.I.P. Identification material as part of Pari San's set list: epic, gripping songs, embedded in an engaging live performance. Not to be missed.

out February 2nd: 'Heute will ich frei sein' EP by Wolfgang Tillmans

A year after his first release, Tillmans returns with a new extended play on his own label Fragile.

'Heute Will Ich Frei Sein' sets an energetic tone for the 5 track EP that leads straight on the dancefloor, a space that Tillmans has observed and discussed from various angles throughout his artistic career.

While Los Angeles based experimental noise project Wreck and Reference’s beats and 808 staccato claps instantly create a hedonistic dance moment, it is Tillmans' lyrics that contrast the simplicity of this message. Tillmans knows that clubs have always been spaces mirroring constant crisis of ‘western’ societies towards minorities, race and gender. In the light of current political events, it is the singers' nod that informs us about the precarity and necessity of such spaces as no contradiction.

new signing: Giant Rooks

Freibank has just signed worldwide publishing agreement with german art-pop band Giant Rooks.

Hailing from Hamm in North West Germany, Giant Rooks are art-pop five-piece who’ve been turning heads since their inception.

It was this first EP in 2015 release that saw the groundwork laid for the band to win the popNRW Prize for newcomers in 2016, as well as two consecutive summers of festivals, which saw the band play over 80 festival shows including Reeperbahn, Eurosonic and The Great Escape. In addition to this, the band have also supported Kraftklub and The Temper Trap, not to mention a 29-date, nine country tour with Mighty Oaks throughout November and December 2017.

If that initial EP was what set the wheels of the hype-train in motion, it was the release of its follow-up, the New Estate EP (Haldern Pop Records 2017), which has cemented the reputation of Giant Rooks in Germany, Austria, Luxembourg and Switzerland.

2018 will see the band embark on their second major tour, with the 23 dates taking in shows in Germany, The Netherlands and UK.

Their debut album is scheduled for 2018.

Out Now: 'Blinded' by Patlac

He is a master of creating an emotional yet gorgeous deep sound that blends house and techno with grace and elegance. Patlac's debut album 'Blinded' is a gorgeous elegy to his hometown, the city of Hamburg, delicately drawing on the sophisticated sound of house, techno, and electro.
