album release: 'Green Supreme' by Phonique

The house music veteran just released his fourth studio album!

To describe Phonique as prolific would be something of an understatement. To date, he has amassed a discography of more than 500 original tracks and remixes - as well as three previous studio albums - for acclaimed labels such as Dessous, Poker Flat, Crosstown Rebels, Systematic, Souvenir and of course his own label Ladies and Gentlemen, a collection which includes some runaway successes.

The 2010 track Feel What You Want, taken from his second album 'Kissing Strangers' currently has over 36 million views on YouTube, while the 2012 track Vincent Price currently sits at the 11 million mark, making Phonique one of the very few truly underground producers whose music has the ability to cross into the mainstream.

Released February, 24 on his own Ladies and Gentlemen.

Upcoming: 'Hitachi M.W.' EP by Roland Kaiser Wilhelm

Cologne-based producer Roland Kaiser Wilhelm delivers an homage to Hitachi's famous Magic Wand.

'Hitachi M.W.' is the first single by full-time Camp Inc.-member and part-time soloist Roland Kaiser Wilhelm. The uplifting title-track can be labeled as cosmic or even hi-RNG, but whatever you call it - it's here to burn into your memory forever. B-side 'Orgue Deux' takes that classic house-organ sound into hauntologist realms, a dreamy yet dancey tune straight from your favourite synths back in the days.

Out on Baumusik on March 3rd.

'Into Randomness' by Me Succeeds

The promsising Hamburg-based electro pop duo released it's 4th album on Ki Records.

They say coincidence is a word with no meaning, because nothing happens without a reason. Within this spectre of oddity and positivity, randomness or alleged fortune, Mona Steinwidder and Lorin Strohm aka Me Succeeds place their new album 'Into Randomness'.

'Into Randomness' is out on Ki Records, including a remix album featuring contributions by a who is who of Hamburg's electronic music scene that came out in December.

Mona also tours around Europe from April as a solo artist under the moniker Mohna.

release: Long Distance Operators

Long Distance Operators (LDO) is a collaboration between the Australian musician Hugo Race and the Belgian violinist Catherine Graindorge.

Hugo Race, singer, songwriter, producer and author, has a long and wide-ranging history, from the trans-global Dirtmusic and his groups True Spirit and Fatalists to his origins in the 80's Melbourne post-punk scene with Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds and The Wreckery.

Catherine Graindorge, violinist and actress, is known for her work with the Belgian groups Monsoon and Nox, and more recently with Détroit (Bertrand Cantat- Pascal Humbert), John Parish or the German singer Andrea Schroeder. She also plays and composes for theater and cinema.

The music of LDO is an intensely atmospheric dreamweave of violins, electronics and Hugo's darkly evocative voice. The duo explores metaphysical lyrics, experimental sounds and retro-baroque orchestrations in a romantic, song-based context.

'Catherine Graindorge / Hugo Race' came out January 31st on Sub Rosa.

Jaki Liebezeit unexpectedly passed

It is with great sadness that we learned of Jaki Liebezeit’s far too early death.

We consider ourselves honoured and fortunate for the opportunity to act as publishers for his Secret Rhythms project with Burnt Friedman.

Wherever he now dwells, we have no doubt it will be with perfect time.
