OUT NOW: 'Stay A Rebel' by The Esprits

After more than 45 shows in 2015, their debut album 'Stay A Rebel' came out on the 29th of January.

An album full of great songs. Honest and impetuous, constantly with one eye on the hookline. Producer Arne Neurand (Horus Studios Hannover) and Jason Nye's influence in the arrangment of the songs and the overall sound is undeniable. 'Move Like You' is incredibly danceable and outgoing. 'I Don't Care' is snottily played rock with a solid pop undertone.

The quartet formed in 2012 and with the tender, average age of 20 have achieved more than many bands their senior.

The Esprits enthusiastically dive into the indie-rock scene often being compared to Mando Diao, The Hives, Arctic Monkeys and the Kooks. Unlike many artists in the genre, their lyrics don't speak of selfdestruction and despair, but instead relay the sentiment of a younger generation: growing up, beer soaked experiences, and the joys of life.
