Foals
Having just won “Best Track” at the NME Awards 2013 for lead single 'Inhaler', the band release their 'Holy Fire' album and hit radio with 'My Number' in Germany.
The first German shows supporting the album release in March are already sold out.
Our favourite quote on the album comes from singer Yannis Philippakis himself: "There are some heavier moments and some dirtier moments. It's swampy, some of the grooves are quite stinky." And a lot more…

Stefan Obermaier
Stefan Obermaier stepped into the arena of international club electronica almost a decade ago. Born in Salzburg and a keyboard player since the age of 5, he - inspired by the Vienna Sound of the 90s - played and composed for various Funk & Jazz projects in the 90s but simultaneously developed a reputation as a performing electronic musician. At the time, this implied moving and installing bulky computers in venues - as functional laptops had not yet entered the market. In 2001, Obermaier moved to Vienna to study musicology, but left upon signing his first record contract in order to focus on his musical output.
Stefan has made a name for himself with remarkable solo releases, in-demand remixes (a.o. for Supermax, Mark Murphy, and M ('Pop Muzik') as well as his Gold selling 'Classic Reloaded Project' on which he pieced apart some of Beethoven's and Mozart's works, retooling them for the 21st century. He effortlessly fuses the cool, funky & dubby Vienna scene with a more energetic, strictly future bound tech approach.
His own label Drift Rec. was launched in 2012 with the crisp, uplifting house music of the Bagana EP, its successor 'Traveler' achieved Top 10 positions in the leading German (DCC) and UK (Cool Cuts) club charts and his third 2012 release, the Shishanna EP, also peaked at #2 DCC.
Stefan Obermaier has his own sound exhibition room at the world's first sound and music museum - the Viennese Haus der Musik. We look forward to a lot more from him in 2013.

Trentemøller
Since the release of his summer anthem ‘Physical Fraction’ on Steve Bug’s Audiomatique label in 2005, Anders Trentemøller has been globally recognized as an outstanding producer and multi instrumentalist.
His 2006 debut album ‘The Last Resort’ struck a chord with audiences around the world, receiving numerous ‘Album of the Year' awards and significant worldwide sales. Remix honours include a Grammy nomination for the Trentemøller remix of Franz Ferdinand’s ‚No You Girls‘. Live shows with his band included festivals like Glastonbury (UK), Melt (Germany), Lowlands (Netherlands) and headlining the Danish Roskilde festival in 2009.
Trentemøller continued to innovate and move forward on his second artist album ‘Into the Great Wide Yonder’, released 2010. Anders: “Of course I didn’t want to make the same record twice. That would have been boring. (…) I’d want the music to be more organic, warm and not typical electronic sounding”.
We are pleased and proud to accept responsibility for the global administration of Anders Trentemøller’s copyrights outside of Denmark together with our friends and partners at Edition Babelfish / SEN.

In response to the situation in Mali, World Cicuit artist Fatoumata Diawara has gathered together over 40 of Mali’s most renowned musicians in a studio in Bamako to record a song and video calling for peace.
Known collectively as 'Voices United for Mali' the group includes Amadou and Mariam, Oumou Sangare, Bassekou Kouyate, Vieux Farka Toure, Djelimadi Tounkara, Toumani Diabate, Khaira Arby, Kasse Mady Diabate, Baba Salah, Afel Bocoum, Tiken Jah, Amkoullel and Habib Koite amongst many others. The track is titled ‘Mali-ko’ (Peace / La Paix)
"The Malian people look to us,” the 30-year old said earlier this week. “They have lost hope in politics. But music has always brought hope in Mali. Music has always been strong and spiritual, and has had a very important role in the country, so when it comes to the current situation, people are looking to musicians for a sense of direction.”
