For Films Edit 15. Out Now!

Looking for music for your project? The "for films" series has established itself as an ideal reference, source of inspiration and plain working tool for a continuously growing number of professionals. "for films" edit. 15 marks the 15th year in which this series presents a fresh and new selection of works by both young and proven artists providing music particularly suitable for combination with moving pictures. From urban and ethno beats to electronica, rock and dub, edit. 15 presents a broad variety of musical styles chosen from our extensive catalogue.
As usual, the "for films" series can only feature a small excerpt of works published by Freibank. Professionals in need of further music are welcome to order previous editions or the full length albums of the presented artists. You can also listen to all tracks released on edits 1 to 14 at www.freibank.com, or request an individual selection to be compiled for you at short notice.

Mona Mur:Composer of IO Interactives Kane & Lynch 2™: Dog Days

Berlin-based audio artist and underground cult figure Mona Mur provides the music score for IO Interactive’s recently announced Kane & Lynch 2™: Dog Days. The game is her first international AAA title. Kane & Lynch 2™: Dog Days is published by Eidos/Square Enix and was released in August 2010 and entered directly the Pole Position of the british Games-Charts. "Mona Mur composes the Industrial Terror Ambience which generates the opressive but driving atmosphere", says Art Director Rasmus Poulsen in EUROGAMER. "We didn‘t want this normal epic orchestra stuff here." Mona Mur, extravagant vocalist, composer and sound designer, has gained her reputation in the international avantgarde scene collaborating with artists such as "Einstuerzende Neubauten", "The Stranglers", "Yello" and the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra. Her work can be found in games such as BALLANCE, awarded "Seal of Excellence" in Adrenaline Vault, the Sci-Fi-Adventure “CULPA INNATA 2–Chaos Rising” or the apocalyptic 3rd person shooter VELVET ASSASSIN.
