OUT: album 'Passages In Time' by Kasper Bjørke Quartet
'Passages in Time', the third album from Kasper Bjørke Quartet, traces the contours of a blend of spiritual jazz reverence and the calming grandeur of ’80s ambient. Inspired by Christopher Nolan’s observation that “time is the most fundamental part of our human experience,” the compositions are approached as fragments of time and memory. Meditations on the elusive nature of time form the heart of the work, merging freeform jazz improvisations with cyclical synthesizer patterns that mirror its quiet undulations.
Dreamy synths intertwine with guitar, harp, trumpet, flugelhorn, saxophone, and flute, creating a spacious environment for contemplation. The music invites reflection on the choices that shape our lives and the lives of those closest to us, and on the quiet weight of our priorities within the brief span we call life on this planet. Each passage unfolds as a fleeting moment suspended in time. The subtitles hint at fragments from someone’s diary, tender observations of love, parenthood, and connection. Together, the passages form a musical memoir of sorts, where memory and emotion are gently woven into the compositions.
OUT: single 'Exhaust Hoods (Trentemøller Rework)' by Neu Sierra
Trentemøller crafted a dark, melancholic, yet enchanting soundscape around the raw, vulnerable vocals of the artist Neu Sierra. She wrote the song 'Exhausted Hoods' for her deceased friend, a song that oscillates between alternative rock, noir rock, and darkwave. Anders thus perfectly captured the mood of this sad theme through his music.
Giant Rooks live at ZDF Magazin Royale
World Premiere! Giant Rooks and Solann are performing their brand-new song, 'The Waves.' Although the five-piece band from Hamm is set to embark on a major tour of North and South America later this year, Giant Rooks have decided to celebrate the big release of their new song at Jan Böhmermanns late nite show Magazin Royale on ZDF.
OUT: album 'Seeds Of The Unknown' by Max Turner
Musically, we hear far eastern influences, soul, hip hop, new wave, dub, and electronica on Max Turner's 'Seeds Of The Unknown' . Some listeners might be reminded of Joy Division when listening to these songs, others of Lou Reed or Shuggie Otis, but all of them can be heard in the space between these songs! Max Turner finds inspiration in ancient Zen teachings, 12th century persian poetry as much as a good Motown song.

Ambassade ventures into the world of Manrira - a dark, alluring feminine presence that confronts systems driven by value, profit, and power. Emerging from dystopian structures, Manrira exists in the liminal space where organic and digital forces collide, merge, and mutate. This new audiovisual work is devoted to the enchanting acoustics of the human voice and its relationship to bodies, architectures, and shifting environments.
At the heart of Manrira is the human voice - alive, breathing, and full of presence. It flows like a living instrument, shaping space and emotion. Manrira explores the voice as resonance, as body, and as spatial event.
Manrira moves from dynamic song compositions into extended structures, blending live bass, neo-classical elements, ethereal vocals, drum machines, breaks, and techno-driven textures. The result is an immersive experience that invites the audience to listen closely and reconsider their connection to sound, space, and their surroundings.
