We have had close ties with Abwärts since ‘Computerstaat’ days, personally and later professionally. Only last year decided to extend our cooperation again.
It is painful to think back to the SO36 concert less than a year ago. Frank had just released the brilliant 'Superfucker' single and was full of energy, drive and in the midst of tour planning. Superfuck.
But Frank has also lived a life like few others - as straightforward as he was: Courageous, uncompromising and always with a generous portion of deep black humour. Our thoughts are with his wife Sonja, the band and everyone else who will miss him as much as we do.
