OUT: Album 'Recoded' by Fear Factory
Fear Factory's albums are film-like soundscapes reminiscent of the dystopian, post-apocalyptic futures of classic science fiction literature and films from Ray Bradbury to Blade Runner. "Recoded" features reinterpreted versions of songs from their tenth studio album, Aggression Continuum. Much like the successful 1997 crossover release "Remanufacture" that followed the groundbreaking "Demanufacture" album two years earlier, "Recoded" takes a moment to focus on the band's industrial and dark wave side as well as their metal roots, brilliantly deconstructing and rebuilding the much-lauded 2021 album into a new soundscape. Whatever may come, Fear Factory will be there to provide the soundtrack for the uncertain times of mankind.
