Berlinale surprise Hit 'B-Movie: Lust & Sound in West Berlin' continues to receive praise and awards, most recently the Heiner-Carow-Preis!
'B-Movie' ist arguably the best documentation of the music, art and genral chaos reigning West Berlin during the 80s. The film tells the story of the decade from Punk to the advent of Techno - when the walled-in city was a wild creative melting pot for sub- and pop culture, genial dilettants and global stars - cleverly splicing rare authentic footage with new material and a thumping soundtrack.

'No church in the Wild' by Jay-Z und Kanye West was placed in the 'Land of Quattro' spot, which is part of the global campaign for the new Audi Quattro 3.0. Frank Ocean sampled Spooky Tooth's 'Sunshine Help Me' for this track, featured on the 2011 'Watch the Throne' Album.
'Heaven Is Honey' by Einstürzende Neubauten in 'The Dreamlife of David L.'
'The Dreamlife of David L.' (original title: 'La vie rêvée de David L.') is a feature film about a key period in David Lynch's life - an imaginary vision of his time at the Academy of the Fine Arts during which he decides to devote his talent to film making rather than painting. Directed by Paul Lê & Julien Pichard and produced by TransKom, the film has already received awards at independent fiilm festivals in the US.
