OUT: album 'Mescalero Ranger' by Reverend Stomp
Imagine: it's 36 degrees outside, the crickets are drowning out the street noise, the monstera plant on the windowsill is taking on cactus like features, and the perfect soundtrack is coming from the speakers: ‘Mescalero Ranger’ -the second album by the Viennese garage rock combo Reverend Stomp. Okay, yes, it's the middle of winter and this visualization is still a bit difficult. But next summer is sure to come, and until then, the eleven songs on ‘Mescalero Ranger’ can warm our ears, hearts and stomping dancing feet.
OUT: ep 'no te preocupes' by Tremendous Aron
'no te preocupes' is the new EP from Tremendous Aron, written and recorded around a major life shift, just before and after his move from Berlin to Chile in March 2025. Even as a teenager, the drummer was an avid rap lover. Constantly searching for samples for his own beats, he eventually came to jazz via rap. Today, he mixes the two styles as he pleases, drawing inspiration from soul icons of the 60s and drum sounds of the 90s boom bap era. This is how Tremendous Aron finds his own sound, where jazz harmonies and improvisation meet loop-like beats. 'no te preocupes' is a warm, colorful mix of friendship, transition, and Latin-tinged groove, a sonic embrace that reminds us, as the title suggests: don’t worry too much.
new signing: A.S. Fanning
Berlin-based Irish songwriter A.S. Fanning combines a core of introspective folk with the power and breadth of rock, wave, and psychedelic pop. His themes are rarely optimistic—transience, the fragile nature of our reality, general unease about many aspects of our present—but his distinctive baritone and a virtuoso band clothe them in eerily beautiful, dense soundscapes.
We are delighted that he is continuing this tradition with his latest album 'Take Me Back To Nowhere', which will be released on February 6th. And of course we also take care of his past works as well. Now enjoy listening his upcoming new album!
OUT: album 'Veil Of Bidaya' by Bazaar Noir
Bazaar Noir went down the rabbit hole of world music - across continents, cultures, and rhythms - not to master them, but to learn, experiment, and have fun along the way. This is not about perfection. It’s about vibe, curiosity, and the joy of making music together. Part of this formation is none other than Freibank's Shuko!
new signing: Kasper Bjørke
After many successes with his disco house band Filur (world tour, #1 in Japan, various awards), Kasper has concentrated on his solo work since 2007 and has also enjoyed great success in this field. In addition to remixes for Moby, WhoMadeWho, Laid Back, Trentemøller (whose long-time personal manager he is) among others and many releases that range from rave-rock, disco, kraut, house, techno and electro, he has performed worldwide as a DJ. Now he has followed in the footsteps of his long-time collaborator Jacob Bellenes and is letting us manage his work. Awesome!
Mona Mur announces new album!
'Don't turn on the news' – nine new Mona Mur songs with exclusive lyrics and photos by Radical Eye photographer Miron Zownir, the result of the second collaboration between these two uncompromising artists. Urban electronic poetry in stark black and white. Eclectic musical adventures of fine electronics and stylish guitars, mercilessly forged together by Mur's unmistakable voice, attitude and production skills, as well as Zownir's pitch-black, painfully beautiful lyrics, written exclusively for Mona Mur. Producing in her own Berlin studio Katana, Mur creates a cinematic Série Noir cosmos, as cruel as life, as tender as the night. For the album cover, Miron Zownir portrayed Mona Mur in front of his Megafence exhibition in April 2025. The renowned Firma Freimauer is responsible for the cover artwork. Out 30.04.2026!
