OUT: album 'The Incredible Crocotiger' re-mastered by Messer Chups

Russian surf band Messer Chups celebrate Ten Years Of Terror with an anniversary edition of their original album 'The Incredible Crocotiger'. Including fan favorites like 'Magneto', 'Moon Race', and 'Crocotiger', the band's snappy, rockabilly-horror dread-inductions are put back on full blast. Chups' cinematic approach to surf rock is much exulted, blending instrumental prowess with a love for vintage, analog horror and pop culture. Like The Misfits, except surf rock: spookier, eerier sound effects undertone exotica and spaghetti western jigs, as on the creatively juxtaposed 'Astro Zombies', a punky song warning its listeners of fearsome, chameleonic creatures known as astro-zombies, who walk among us, portending societal breakdown.

Rosa Anschütz announces new album!

Berlin-born artist Rosa Anschütz, known for her spellbinding vocal work in the electronic underground, releases her new album 'Sabbatical', via cult label Heartworm Press.

Marking her first international release outside of Germany, 'Sabbatical' is an ambitious 14-track statement over a decade in the making - a record of both haunting minimalism and visionary depth. Swapping pulsing club beats for a raw, cinematic intimacy, Anschütz channels the spectral beauty of Moon Pix-era Cat Power, the mystique of Nico, and the experimental clarity of Björk and Dead Can Dance. The stripped-back arrangement foregrounds Anschütz’s arresting voice, carrying lyrics that feel both prophetic and personal.

With 'Sabbatical', Rosa Anschütz emerges as one of the most compelling avant-garde voices of her generation—an artist unafraid to dismantle genre, geography, or expectation. The album is a bold reinvention and a testament to the patience and precision of a singular creative vision.

New signing: Thomas Stieler

Is there anything better for a good party than a passionate, authentic and open-minded DJ with long-standing production skills? Not really. Thomas Stieler combines these three virtues par excellence – a perfect match for any house music lover. House is his sound, his world, his permanent stimulus and has been so for the past 15 years.

Not fussed about short-lived hypes and instead inspired by both old and new records, Thomas Stieler has since found his signature sound: house in all its facets – classic, deep, minimal, full of drive and sometimes even close to techno. As a DJ he enthuses the crowd with his fine intuition for tracks that fit the mood and are mixed into each other both elegantly and electrily – the typical Stieler transitions. And these transitions can be enjoyed live on a regular basis, amongst others in some of the best international clubs.

His releases can be found on numerous labels like Lauter Unfug Musik, Rotary Cocktail Recordings, Biotop and Blind Vision Records. We are happy to co- publish Thomas with our partner Edition Moon Harbour!
