We've been working with Jan for several years now, and we're very happy that he's finally joined our team. He is a pianist, music producer, and sound designer. Through his work, he explores a simplicity of expression that maximizes the emotional truth of each composition.
The Kekse (cookie) Crew has been hard at work - the new album 'glücklichsein' is here! Twelve freshly baked songs straight from the Beatofen, full of love, funk, soul, and imagination. Songs about stop-dance, drawing circles, eggs full of life, weather wonders, penguins, pelicans, and the hyperspace elf machine.

As you might know, I‘m doing that mellow lofi house stuff, but I also love the stpuid party sound, that has that extra flavor of funkyness in it. Just a nobrainer to do that collab with my other alias Green Piccolo to fusion the G Sound and the House sound. That‘s the stpuid result.

World Premiere! Giant Rooks and Solann are performing their brand-new song, 'The Waves.' Although the five-piece band from Hamm is set to embark on a major tour of North and South America later this year, Giant Rooks have decided to celebrate the big release of their new song at Jan Böhmermanns late nite show Magazin Royale on ZDF.
Musically, we hear far eastern influences, soul, hip hop, new wave, dub, and electronica on Max Turner's 'Seeds Of The Unknown' . Some listeners might be reminded of Joy Division when listening to these songs, others of Lou Reed or Shuggie Otis, but all of them can be heard in the space between these songs! Max Turner finds inspiration in ancient Zen teachings, 12th century persian poetry as much as a good Motown song.
